Plugins

Projectivy Launcher can be extended in different ways. It currently supports two plugin types: Icon Packs and Wallpaper Providers. The Projectivy community also builds third-party projects around the launcher.

Except for a few official plugins, they are built by third-party developers (let us know if your project is missing from the list). Thanks for their contribution to the Projectivy community ❤️ !
We recommend that you review the permissions and privacy policies of anything you choose to install.

🎯 Icon packs

Customizing card icons one by one is possible, but it can be time-consuming. That's why Projectivy supports icon packs: they can automatically replace the default card icons with icons from your pack. You can also use an icon pack as a library to pick individual icons when customizing cards, even if you don't want to replace everything.

Projectivy Icon Pack

The Projectivy Icon Pack is designed specifically for Projectivy Launcher. It now includes over 800 icons.

Other Icon Packs

While the Projectivy Icon Pack is currently the only pack supporting TV cards (16/9 ratio), most standard icon packs such as Arcticons are also supported. Using them with a colored background is recommended to get the best results on 16/9 cards.

DIY

If you want to build an icon pack yourself, the recommended approach is to fork the Blueprint project and use it to generate your own icon pack. You'll need to update the manifest to add Leanback (Android TV) support. The generated icon pack should be compatible with Projectivy Launcher, and most screens should be navigable with a remote control.

🎨 Wallpaper Providers

Wallpaper Providers are plugins that extend Projectivy Launcher's wallpaper capabilities. They can provide video or picture wallpapers for the home screen. Projectivy Launcher also ships with a few built-in wallpaper providers (for example Reddit, custom files, or folders), and you can install external providers to add more sources.

DIY

If you want to build a Wallpaper Provider yourself, the recommended way is to select "use this template" on the Projectivy Plugin Wallpaper Provider project. The provided template will allow you to build a plugin that can provide wallpapers to Projectivy Launcher, and the documentation in the repository should help you get started.

🎁 Community projects

In addition to plugins, the community builds tools and companion projects around Projectivy Launcher. These are not installed inside the launcher, but they can help you create assets or customize your setup.
